Israel has ordered dozens of Palestinian families to leave their homes in Bani Suhaila, southern Gaza, marking the first forced evacuation since a ceasefire took effect in October 2025.

According to Reuters, the Israeli military dropped evacuation leaflets in Arabic, Hebrew, and English, warning residents that the area is under IDF control. Local residents said multiple families were affected, many living in tents or partially damaged homes.

There was no immediate comment from Israeli authorities. Both Israel and Hamas accuse each other of violating the ceasefire.
