Tensions in the Middle East have surged again after Israel launched one of its heaviest bombardments on Lebanon since the April ceasefire agreement. Israeli forces reportedly struck more than 100 Hezbollah-linked targets across southern and eastern Lebanon following orders from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to intensify military operations.
According to Lebanese officials, at least 31 people were killed in the latest attacks, including several children, while many more were injured as airstrikes hit multiple areas near Tyre and Nabatieh.
